Development Fund: Q&A and Matchmaking Event

We are pleased to announce that the Centre will organise an event at the Centre space, on the 12th of January 2023 from 1pm to 3pm, to support researchers who would like to submit a proposal for our open Development Fund call.

If you would like to attend, please send a request to icr-imperial-convergence.centre@imperial.ac.uk.

This event will consist of two parts:

1 - Remit Information and Q&A (Hybrid on zoom)

This will include a highlight of our remit by our Scientific Director Prof Axel Behrens. It will be followed by two talks from Ms Kelly Gleason (Imperial, PPIE Lead) and Dr Patrick Kierkegaard who will cover respectively the proposal requirements for Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement, and Implementation. Finally, it will conclude with a Q&A chaired by our Research Subcommittee co-chairs Prof Udai Banerji (ICR/RMH) and Prof Darryl Overby (Imperial).

2 - Consultations and Matchmaking (in-person at the Centre)

In-person attendees will have the opportunity to have 1-2-1 consultations with the Centre’s team and the speakers to further tailor their applications. Flash talks will be organised to stimulate feedback, matchmaking and new collaborations. Tea & coffee will be provided!
