Cancer doesn’t affect everyone equally; disparities in stage at diagnosis result in significant differences in patient outcomes and experiences.
We're launching a spotlight call for research developing novel approaches to tackling inequalities in cancer early detection and diagnosis.
We want to support proposals with new and pioneering ideas to reduce known inequalities, such as symptom awareness and access to services, tools and testing, as well as those that explore and address less well-understood mechanisms driving inequalities.
Funding is available through our existing early detection and diagnosis routes and will span multiple rounds. Learn more about this spotlight call.
To support applicants, we're hosting a webinar on 2 December at 2 pm GMT to outline the funding process, eligibility and strategic priorities.
