Cancer Population Genetics Club (CANPOP) Inaugural Meeting

1 Dec 2025, 13:00 PM

Cancer Population Genetics Club (CANPOP) is a new initiative of the Centre for Evolution and Cancer at the ICR and aims to provide an informal platform to bring together researchers interested in integrating theory and data to better understand how cancers evolve.

For the inaugural meeting, we have invited 6 fantastic speakers with a range of different perspectives on cancer evolution, including Caroline Watson (University of Cambridge), Simone Zaccaria (University College London), and Verena Korber (University of Oxford).

There will be plenty of time reserved for questions and a break to allow for chats over tea/coffee.

📅 Monday 1st December, 1-5pm

📍Institute of Cancer Research in Chelsea (123 Old Brompton Road, London SW7 3RP; Nearest Tube: Gloucester Rd).

✍Please email Maxi Strobl (m.strobl@imperial.ac.uk) to receive the registration link or if you have any questions.
