Diana David
Higher Scientific Officer
I’m a Higher Scientific Officer at the ICR within the CRUK Convergence Science Centre. I work closely with Sudeep on organoid derivation from patient tissue and training fellow researchers interested in using organoids in their own research. We also work on different projects with past trainees to find new ways in which organoids can help advance research and improve patients’ lives in the long run. I joined the Organoid facility from the (Institute of Translational Cancer Research and Experimental Cancer Therapy at the) Technical University of Munich where I was a Student Assistant, participating in the large-scale molecular characterisation of >800 primary pancreatic cancer cell cultures derived from genetically engineered mouse models of molecular tumour subtypes. Originally from Romania, I love exploring new places and creating lasting memories through travel.
